About Sean Mathews
Hello! My name is Sean Mathews, I am a Cinematographer, video editor, and photographer. I started shooting videos and photos soon after my baseball career ended due to a torn labrum in my throwing arm. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in cinema studies. When I’m not doing anything camera related; I’m coaching baseball, playing video games, watching movies, listening to music, and reading manga.
“21’s Photos/Videos” comes from my baseball jersey number 21. The number has stuck with me since my playing days, and I thought it would be a nice callback to what I was before the videos and photos. I grew up in San Francisco with a deep connection to Eugene, Oregon due to my dad. I wanted to attend the school for as long as I can remember. It was a dream come true when I finally was able to attend.
I’m not the best writer, so I’ll let my photos and videos do the rest of the talking. Apparently a picture is worth a thousand words, so I should have plenty to say.
